Check Mate

Yes, I may be a tad obsessed with midi skirts...

Elegance is in the details and for this look it is the painted box strokes that kindly reminded me of Carolina Herrera.  As I said before, clothes and I... we share a spoken connection and for this skirt it was it's hidden navy tones intermixed with the black that sparked my fancy.  Since the pattern is loud without generating too much commotion I decided to show the right amount of skin for it too look casual.  I must remind myself that button down shirts are life savers since they act as a chameleon of sorts.  Wear them backwards, cropped, long or however you want, they will still add that put togetherness while maintaining that effortless flair.

Stay Lovely,

La Vie Est Belle

Within soft hued rues placed beneath pale skies, I found the likeness of myself in a city so beauteous that's immortalized in artist's eyes.

I've been delaying this post for weeks as I can never find the right words to explain my sentiments towards the city that brought the greatest love affair I have known.  The grandeur in its simplicity baffles my every being and I can never compare it to the words that have shaped my knowledge of Paris.  This enchantment of a city possesses all the desires I wish to express.  For no other architecture has stolen my breath, I deeply hold the french aesthetic within my heart.  Darling monuments made way for the historic tales the pavement contains; I never grew tired of walking.  No exasperating sighs, no annoying whining of feet's ardor, it was a dream amongst reality.

Patterned Moments

Every weekend I like to discover new lovely spots around the island with my favorite adventurous companion.  This Sunday, we drove to Condado to add a slight posh ambience while subconsciously dressing in matching colors.  As we strolled down the boulevard, it was decided as a fabulous idea to soothe our minds and lay around the sand.  Surrounded by onlookers, we tuned staring eyes out and decided to have an impromptu shoot.  The lighting was sublime as a dewy blue dispersed throughout the sky leaving a lovely atmosphere as our background.
A major aspect of this were my patterned pants (a staple I never use).  As you may know, I’m more of a skirt gal by heart.  Yet, these pants may make me want to buy more… go figure!  After our little moment of bliss, we went for plantain burgers at Yamburger (I highly recommend them), talked the hours away and called it a night.
Simple moments, swell company and never ending imaginations are the ideal ingredients for the perfect days.  Rejoice life’s simplicities!
